Ramp is centered around a custom-made percussion instrument that is slightly bent at one side (like a skateboard ramp). Acoustic sound of the instrument consists of various layers of repurposed objects, structured according to a specific theory of "musical object". It extends at both ends to electronic sound - one speaker at the upper part of the ramp, and one at the lower part of it. Diverse palette of physical objects and electronic sounds is articulated into rhythmical streams that flow along the length of the ramp (up and down), moving at different pace. The work is an electro-acoustic instrument - composition, that consists of 5 short pieces. Comissioned and performed by Miguel Angel Garcia Martin.
