PERMANENT COLLECTION

Following the tendency of expanding  possible ways of objectification of musical expression in my works, I have built a musical object (sculpture) that brings into relation a physical sound source and a musical notation (as representations of the sound). These elements are joined in the form of a box - music box or a musical automaton.
​Mirroring the musical structure, metal construction outlines the form of the piece.  Two musical objects are fixed on it:
1) Score of a Synthi 100 patch is engraved on the stone plate, and this is a decryption of the sound that comes from the loudspeaker next to it
2) The bell hit by the solenoid  that is a source of the processed sound that runs  through the nearby speaker
​These two musical elements are the basis of the composition that runs as long as the music box is switched on.
